So many people have asked me about safe non-aluminium deodorants through the years, and I did have several favourites. However, this new product is fantastic. Aluminium blocks our pores and stops the waste being eliminated by the body. It is the equivalent of stopping yourself from going to the toilet and that certainly isn’t healthy. However, in our extreme summer temperatures many people have commented that even my recommended herbal based deodorants didn’t cut it on the sports field or on really hot days. A new product by ‘Hydrosan’ is an ‘Oxygen based’ product. It neutralises the bacteria on our skin – but doesn’t stop us from eliminating the waste. They claim it is safe enough to spray on food and can be used as a sanitiser on benches and worktops etc. I’m impressed with this product. It is a great odour neutraliser and can be safely sprayed on fabrics. Yes, many of you know I’m not a lover of ‘spray’ anything. But the apparent safety of this product makes it the only spray product in our entire house.

Remember, whatever you put on your skin, you may as well eat!
